This week in Hockeytown

Free live streaming tomorrow night for out of market fans on Yahoo! Sports, and an away game viewing party for Detroit locals at Buffalo Wild Wings in Livonia

If your life is anything like mine, time seems to fly whether you’re having fun or not. For Red Wings fans, March doesn’t just mean Spring, it means the approaching close of yet another season when thoughts naturally turn to the NHL trade deadline and, of course, the playoffs!

Tonight, the Red Wings are in St. Louis for tonight’s game against the Blues and tomorrow they’re in Colorado to face off against old Western Conference rivals, the Avalanche.

Fans in local markets will have their usual broadcast options, however, this game will be available to out of market fans, too. Yahoo! Sports will offer live streaming of tomorrow night’s Red Wings – Avs game free online as part of its Yahoo! Sports Hockey Night series.

Fans more local to the Detroit area can join the Red Wings season ticket holders for an away game viewing party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Livonia. The fun starts at 9 p.m. when the puck drops, but feel free to settle in early and get a good seat.

Also, this Saturday’s home game against the Columbus Blue Jackets is sold out, but scattered single tickets are still available for next week’s matchups on Tuesday, March 10, against the Phoenix Coyotes, and on Thursday, March 12 against the Calgary Flames. Even though side-by-side seats are no longer available, fans can still purchase the Red Wings Special Family Pack for scattered single seats. This special pack includes two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for $44.

Whether you’re watching any of this week’s games on television, online, alone or with friends; whether you live in Tucson or Tuskeegee, Miami or Michigan, Red Wings fans should always consider themselves permanent residents of Hockeytown.

Welcome home….

…and Let’s Go Red Wings!!!

Two Saturdays in a row with 8 goals against !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think Osgood has had enough chances . I hope the Wings win another Cup this year but I seriously question both goalies. Time nad again they have been awful this year, much too often. The Wings do need too tighten up defensively also.
    GO WINGS
