Game Nine – Ozzie 400

Red Wings 4, Avalanche 3 (OT)

Chris Osgood picked up his 400th victory in style, tying a career high with 46 saves in a 4-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche. Osgood became the 10th goalie in NHL history to reach the 400-win plateau.

Niklas Kronwall scored the game-winning goal 3:42 into overtime. Jiri Hudler, Johan Franzen and Nicklas Lidstrom also scored for the Wings.

  1. Couldn’t you find a better call of the game? The ‘Lanche announcers were lame. No mention of Ozzie’s 400th win, but then again, why would they? :-/

    But why is it that we never get our own commentators for highlight reals like this? Rarely ever do we do. I call BS.
