Cleary gets his wish, will be bobbled up!

Dan Cleary really wanted to be a bobblehead.

And on Tuesday, he got his wish.

Thanks to your votes and some excellent campaigning, Cleary emerged as the third winner of ‘Operation Bobblehead.’ His likeness, in bobble form, will be given away to the first 7,500 fans in attendance when the Wings host Phoenix on January 12.

One of Cleary’s major campaign promises, made on the Mojo in the Morning show, was to sign his bobblehead for any fan that wanted it autographed.

Fans can also now pick the final Red Wing to bobble in our ‘Operation Bobblehead’ promotion. Which player will join Cleary, Pavel Datsyuk, Johan Franzen, Henrik Zetterberg and Nick Lidstrom? That’s up to you! This time around, the three highest vote totals will move on to a final round of voting, going head-to-head with two other teammates to determine a winner.

The bobblehead giveaway schedule is as follows.

Thursday, October 13 vs. Vancouver – PAVEL DATSYUK (Presented by AT&T)
Thursday, November 3 vs. Calgary – HENRIK ZETTERBERG (Presented by DMC)
Thursday, December 8 vs. Phoenix – JOHAN FRANZEN
Thursday, January 12 vs. Phoenix – DAN CLEARY
Thursday, February 23 vs. Vancouver – Winner of Fan Vote #4
Thursday, April 5 vs. New Jersey – NICKLAS LIDSTROM

And because we love providing bonuses for our fans! Here’s a video of Drew Miller and Justin Abdelkader before teeing off at the Ilitch Celebrity Golf Classic at Oakland Hills yesterday.
